Yet another week of Maniarunway and one more fantastic runway show! WOW! I am blown away by all the talent. So much eye candy! Like some of you might have already read in my last post, I was assigned to use the title "Teenage Dirt bag" and was of course very happy with that assignment......not.
Now that I have published these embarrassing pictures, I realize I don't mind showing them off. I'm thinking "SO WHAT"! I am pretty sure we ALL have pictures we feel embarrassed about, especially from our teens. But it is a part of our lives, and after all that's the business we're in - preserving memories. I can't remember seeing a lot of lay-outs about anybody's teen ages (except the ones who have teenage children) Bottom line is, it feels really good to have a LO about myself back then, and looking at this LO makes me remember how innocent and inexperienced I was, I remember what being teenager was all about - mostly good, but also tough at times and I especially remember all the fun I had.
..and all this got me thinking. What if I challenged YOU - yes YOU - to make a LO or project about YOUR teen years? Would you do it??? I would love to see what you come up with, and hope to see participation from the hole world. I have visitors from Norway, Netherlands, USA, UK, Germany, Canada, Slovakia, Poland, South Africa, Australia plus, plus....it would be SO cool to see teenage pages from all parts of the world. So please go dig out some of those pictures, I assure you it feels REALLY good. I will put together a cool RAK from all my stash and if you do participate, don't forget to comment on this post with a link to your creation. You have until nov. 30.
Hopefully to inspire you, here's my LO about me as a "Teenage Dirt bag". I kept it simple so you can really see how good I looked back then, ha, ha. Did you notice how I focused on the "teenage" part and kept the "dirt bag" part very small....ha, ha.
